Today is Lynette's Burfday!!! Happy Birthday to You!!!

Kinda tired now...but anyway...Prayer..
Yes, today after lunch and everything..we were suppose to study...
We (Lynette and I) found a tutorial room where we were suppose to study...but after other students left the room..we came together and prayed...
We prayed for a number of issues:
- studies
- church
- youth group
- our individual lives
Then, we went for prayer meeting in CF. It was good to pray for the nation and current issues. Awesome! I just love prayer time.. And I never felt this way before... I guess it's God's touch??
Kevin sent me lots of photos he took in Pangkor.. I must say that he has photography skills and also the camera was good la... He said it's a DSLR (digital ...somthing somthing)... I'll put up some of the pictures in the photo album. Very professionally taken
 I guess that's all for now...

My dad is going for an interview tomoro for the post as GM in a korean company WoongJin, related to water treatment also.. Please pray that God would guide him through this interview and grant him a successful interview. *time for financial breakthrough!!!*

Yesterday (Friday)
Morning went to college to listen to my friends' seminar.
Then went for lunch with Lynette and Trissha.
Headed to Lynette's house to watch video clips of Easter Drama in her church.. [Though the video taking was a bit cacated, but still ok la.. Some of the acting was good and some have lots to improve.. *clap clap clap* Well done to all..for God don't see perfection in us only, but He sees the heart who does it to glorify and praise Him..
 ] Then, we burned some CDs and watched "High School Musical" with Lynette and her sister... (had the grape-flavoured Sprite and Chocolate...muahaha...all the carbs..)Reached home...Rested.. Went for Cell Group and started on the Book of Phillipians..
Today..
Rained heavily with strong wind blowing...Even the news showed footage of trees falling...Because of this, I felt so lazy and slept from 3pm until 7 something...sad sad...oversleep already...
Before I took my nap, I was going through my drawer..trying to pack the stuff in the drawer and I came across my diary [now I can call it my diary of sadness]. I used to write down all the sadness, hurts and pains into this diary as I have no one to share it with and also no one who understands at that point of time, which was around end of 2003 - beginning of 2004.. But that was the past, as I read through the diary and look back now...I really thank God for this to happen because through the time of hurts and pain, I can see God's hand working in my life and things wounldn't have changed if the tough times aren't there... I probably wouldn't have drawn so much closer to God as I would have now.. Thank you, Lord - Have your way in me - Paradise Live

July 13 Science & Technology in the 21st CenturyLe Meridien Hotel @ KL Sentral...
My first trip out of college with my collegemates to a talk "S & T in the 21st Century" by Nobel Laureath Prof. Yang Chen Ning. His talk was pretty general and simple.. But I was amazed by the fact that this man is not an ordinary elderly man (he is 84 yrs old this yr).. For an 84 yr old man, he can really deliver a good lecture/speech in ENGLISH!!! *sorry la...but I must admit that the way he deliver his lecture is much better that some of the lecturers I know*
On the way to Le Meridien, we played black magic...hahha...Dr. Loke still can't get the trick of how we played the black magic.. hahaha... But congratulations to Tik Voon, who finally solved his misery... He finally got the key to the black magic... After black magic, we also tried white magic.. but we already reached the hotel, so only managed to play one round.
On the way back, no more magics already... Instead everyone was excited to go home and we all had a great time chatting and telling jokes...
Then Vincent Loo blurted out..
Vincent: eh...the RTM building not yet 'chak' (canto.. means demolish) meh?? *pointing at the building*
Mr. Chia (one of our lecturer): *looking outside the window* Hey!! That's the Parliment building larrr....
*All of us burst out laughing.. Now we know Vincent can't differentiate between RTM and Parliment building... hahahhaha*
Well...That's my friend..haha
Then I got home around 6.40pm...'poofed'
Slept until 8.20pm...I woke up after receiving a phone call, otherwise I would be sleeping until 9.30pm which I have already set my alarm clock.. kakaka..
Now got to continue my assignment ~~ ciao July 12 T.I.R.E.D.Just had my Environmental Chemistry test today... ermm...the questions OKla...mostly tembak and wrote a lot of crappy stuff...(but it's solid crap...hahah)
Last nite, I went for college CF for the movie nite. We watched a movie which is christianity based 'Ultimate Intelligence'.. It's a very interesting movie where I got a few points:
- Even when we are faced with unfortunate events, e.g. an accident, we have to really trust that whatever the outcome of this event...God has His plan and purpose for us and even in our lives though we may not understand, but God is always there with us to bring us up when we are in the deepest part of our lives. One of the quotes from the movie "God has a unique plan in each of our lives." His plans are all ways right because He is our Creator for He knows what is best for us.
- Prayer is the most powerful tool to overcome anything... As we seek God's will in each of our lives, we must always remember the blessings that He had given us even when we don't deserve it..So what we ought to do is to really devote our lives to God and allow Him to use us as a living testimony to the people around us, the people we meet... We may change on the outside, but let not the love for God change in our hearts...
- No one can outsmart God... No matter how good we are....We are merely Man, not God... God can really use many ways to make us humble before Him...
- Loving God is to let God use our lives to bless others and be a testimony for the glory of God... We are NOT perfect, but in God, we can be mould and perfected by the hands of God... No one can say that they are NOT good enough to serve God.. God has blessed us with so many gifts and talents... It is up to us to really discover what has God granted us.. Have we used our gifts to the maximum for God's glory??
Well, this movie is not just all about christian values...it has it's humour as well..(btw, the movie is in Canto..a number of familiar TVB stars in this movie)
Son: Mom, I have accepted Christ into my life...
I'm going to wear this suit for the baptism next Sunday..
Mom: We are Chinese, so we must worship our chinese Gods..
Son: Well..then..Mom, you cannot worship Buddha coz He is from India...
(This is one of the conversation the mom had with the son..) *hahaha...I find it quite humourous...well, it may not sound funny here...So look out for this movie in video shops, if possible.. * ~To my guess, I think this movie was created based on a real life story~
After that, went home rest and supposed to study for the test today...but I think I stared at the first page for so long and I don't think anything went into my head... I was so tired already...I gave up!! I went to bed at 12.30am, and woke up at 5.15am to study...*yeah...crazzie!! i knoe...(well, last minute study is like that...hehe)*
So this was the reason for the crap I wrote in the test...Anyway, I guess I better stop now...
Things to look forward in a couple of weeks to come:

1. Get to go for a talk by Prof. Dr. Yang Chen Nin on 'Science & Technology in the 21st Century' on Thursday
2. Doulos Youth International Night @ PJEFC (and sadly...I'm missing GMB concert in CHC...aahh...nvm, like Jane said "Next year lor..") => but YIN would be FUN too!!
3. Visit Doulos with Lynette's youth group tgt with Amy and Felicia..(with Klang Bak Kut Teh some more!! hahahah)
4. PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 2: DEAD MAN'S CHEST!!!!Must watch!! 13 July!!! (still havn't watch TAKE THE LEAD!!
 )5. Study group will start soon...*hopefully*

 July 07 DOULOS - bOnD SerVanT!!!What a HOT day!!! But it's A.W.E.S.O.M.E.!!!
* Enjoying my new CD bought it on Doulos Ship "Jazz From the Heart" by Sam Levine (a collection of smotth jazz hymns) *
 I just got back from West Port...why was I there??
I went for a session called RELOAD! (sort of like a workshop..) We had the message frm Bro. Rusty from the US...He spoke about bible study. How do we get the youths involve in studying the Word of God...and truly love and hungry for more of God's Word. Really inspiring to all the youth leaders, youth workers... Great job to the DOULOS team!!
* DOULOS means Bond-Servant (serve willingly) *
After that, we had a personal tour guide by Bro. Lucas on board who was from Germany, he has been serving for about one year plus and aboarding this ship in September to go back to his study and work , also back to his church to be used in God's ministry. Well, it's really inspiring to see them serve in this Doulos ministry to really reach out and engage in the lives of the people all around the globe...it's truly amazing to see their hearts and passion for the peopleall over the world...
* Really hope I get the chance to be part of this as well...but depends on what plans God has for me...By God's grace I will go...when He calls and I will answer!!! haha.. *
After that we had lunch, I should say an extraordinary meal for me...very western ...as in we ate bread, sausages, ham, lettuce, carrot, POTATO salad (awesome....) and CHEESE!!! * hahahaha...JANE, you missed the potato salad and cheese...kakakaka * Which I felt quite healthy way of eating coz you don't take in so much of rice and so on...
After lunch, we had creative workshop.
DRAMA?? MIME?? not any mime...dance mime...
hahaha...interesting rite??
Well, that's what we learned at this workshop...Fun!! We get some hands-on practices as well...cool...hehehe...new area to be explored..
What shall I say...Great experience...touched by the things that the Doulos Crew did...and It's just amazing to see how God uses His people to reach out to many who did not even know Christ ....*applause*
I guess that's all from me now... Suddenly got back my semangat to study already... hahaha...kay la..i gtg study for my test next week.. Got CG later..

July 06 What am I suppose to do???I'm really very sien now...
I have so many things to do...but I'm just not in the mood for anything... I may seem happy and bubbly...deep down ...I think I just ...haih...dunno what's wrong with me these few days...
A bit off these few days...doing crazy stuff, crapping lots, not constructive at all...just disappointed with myself... I guess I need to spend more time alone, not only with myself, but also with God I guess... Need to do some soul searching... Meditation!! Yes, meditate on God's Word.. Guess I need some insight from God...
My final year driving me crazy... I'm so tied down....and I better stop here before I think too much and crap too much...
I'll do my soul searching and come back again... Need to be refreshed!!!

 July 03 Ja-Ne Lo-Ke (jah neh lo kay) season!!Today was a nice day... Worship time was good... This weekend turned out not too bad..I managed to finish some report anf found some infos for my assignment..

It's already slightly past 6am and I guess I might catch an early breakfast eii... hahaha.. Gosh!! I am hungry now!! Hmm... I guess I'll finish up a little bit, then have my roti canai that is on the table (Mom woke up already said that they bought it last night.. hmm.. *bReAkfAsT TiMe*

~sign out~ @work modeWow... After watching the match between Germany vs. Argentina, I feel so revived...hahahha...(*YaY !! Germany WON !!!!*) though I almost got heart attack a few times seeing Argentina so aggressive...
Now I'm back in my working mode... Finishing up my chemistry report. heheheh..thanx to the penang white coffee tht is keeping me awake now, plus the nap in the evening... So refreshed after that short break !!
I guess it's the restoration from God as I viewed Ezekiel 43, which talks about coming of God's glory and the altar being restored. Although these chapter and the subsequent chapters are related to the restoration of God's temple and the servant of the Lord, it reminded me one thing that is God's Sovereignity. When we are down spiritually or physically, that is when God can work in us by lifting us up again, refresh and restore in us an extraordinary strength as we continue to live for Him. This is probably because God's glory will prevail when we are willing to humble ourselves before Him and acknowledge His power over our lives...
God's promises in Jeremiah 33
Verse 3 - 'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know'
Verse 11 - "Give thanks to the LORD Almighty, for the LORD is good; his love endures forever." 'For I will restore the fortunes of the land as they were before,' says the LORD.
